What’s on my telly!
Yeah sure social life has its perks but isn’t it just awesome to crawl up under your cosy rock sometimes and watch some shows? I think so!
If a story really grabs me by the shirt there’s even some fluttery sensations going on when I think about getting back home and hopping into another episode.
Here’s what i’ve been watching this week!
Orange is the new black
From the writer of Weeds… which in my head means the main character on the toilet, a lesbian scene one way or another and a slow plot with good satire!
“The story of Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to 15 months in prison after she is convicted of a decade old crime of transporting money for her drug dealing girlfriend (Laura Prepon).”
Some actors I love in this show are Natasha Lyonne, Laura Prepon – ugh such screen beasties..
And Yael Stone aka Morello – AAAAA WHAT A CUTE THING!
Always hopping around, sporting a red lippie and fixed hair, carrying a Brooklyn attitude no matter what!
Atashinchi no Danshi
Hippo’s off to another town working for the week so this should keep the mushy-level up for sure!
Maki Horikita stars as Chisato Mineta, a 20-year-old homeless girl who moves about from parks to net cafes. Her mother died of illness, and when her father disappears after earning an incredible 100 million Yen debt and making her co-sign, she is chased out of her home. Chisato spends her life running from debt collectors living as a homeless person.
One day she almost gets caught by debt-collectors but then a president of a huge toy company (Okura Shinzo) comes and rescues her by paying off the debt, after of course tricking her into marrying him.
She then finds out that he only has one month to live and is in need of a “wife” to take care of him. If she stays married him then she does not have to pay back the debt but if she leaves then all the money has to be returned immediately in cash.
A month later, she finds out that the president actually has more conditions than just being his wife. She must also live in the Trick Heart Castle with his six sons, all adopted to be successors of the company, and act as their mother for three months in order for the debt to be fully paid. However, each son has hidden himself away from the rest of the family and treat each other as mere strangers that live in the same household. Will Chisato be able to open up their hearts and turn these strangers into a loving family?
No favorite characters so far, just started watching!
Slender: the arrival
Can’t make my way through a creepy game without wanting to throw my PC out the window BUT watching playthroughs fills that void!
If you’re into weird indie games this might be something for you!
This game revolves around.. slender man! “The arrival” is the sequel to the original “Slender” which was released as a free downloadable indie.
It’s a survival horror, no weapons just a flashlight. Ruuuun!
What you need to do is scour the area and find all the notes and such to try and get your friend back.
Been watching Pewdiepie play it because his screams make mine sound like nothing and that’s not bad.
Not bad at all.
And that’s it for the time being! Got any good shows or horror games I need to check out?
Do let me know please! I’m hungry for moar! :)
