Radish juice? Say what?

Tasty juice scootin’ on through today.

If it looks creamy, that’s because it was!

I just juiced up the normal batch of

  • apples
  • carrots (these are what makes the juice so incredibly creamy)

But then I noticed the

  • radish!

It was looking sort of limp, and losing its life energy, and so I juiced that as well.
Is it just me or did that have a sadistic ring to it. o_o
Anyway, juiced the whole thing!

It gave the juice a nice spicy kick!

When looking it up I found out that radish is very good at detoxifying the body, as well as carrying a substantial amount of vitamin C for their size.
Apparently it helps fight that nasty fall fever.

However it just also tasted GREAT!

  1. haha, radish juice, YEAH! I like your style. :-)

  2. Wow, a courageous smoothie maker! I like that.. c

    • Hi! Some radish doesn’t scare me off lol! :) do you make juices?

      • Not this year, we have a little self sufficient/sustainable farm and all our fruit trees were hit with a late freeze, so no juice for us this year.. lots of radishes though!

      • Noo! That’s so sad! :/ unpredictable weather is so harsh on crops. I’m jealous that you can get organic juices though.
That’s the best, we have a little kitchen garden in Holland too, at my aunt’s, just for lettuce and zucchini at the moment. Such tasty veggies. :)
